Getting up at dawn to start the journey to tow our RV and have it repaired in a shop today! Not an easy task around Mississauga we found out… Finally we found a shop - Autopro / Napa in Oakville - that wanted to take in the RV today and have a look at it. We immediately took an Uber to the Safe Self Storage facility at Winston Churchill Boulevard and called CAA to come and tow us. CAA was there within the hour - faster then we had expected - and brought us and our baby to Oakville. We were a bit worried about the towing, hoping that it would not be too hard on her… Once arrived, we met the boss of the place - very friendly and helpful - and he told us his mechanic would have a look at it in the afternoon and he would give us a call if he would have questions or would know when it would be repaired. So we went off to the local Timmy’s for some lunch and free Wi-Fi, as we still had some planning to do for the moment we would be able to start.
After a couple hours, it was time to head back to the mechanics. Good news was awaiting us. The break line would be fixed within the hour. Our trip was finally starting!…or not. After fixing and while testing the breaks, another rusted line broke and another leak was discovered… Diagnostics: we will have to wait for the next day to get the parts and have the old guy repaired.

Decision was then maid to rent a car and to look for a cheap airBnB in the area. The local rental was the cheapest and we found a place in Hamilton. We headed there for a lovely sangria evening on our host’s patio.
